*Note: Levels 1 & 2 offer some blunt force trauma protection, but their primary function is stab protection.  

NOTE: We do not recommend Level 3 for covert vests if worn for more than two hours or when full flexibility is required. Level 3 is suitable for cell extractions, mental health facility response teams, and short-term assignments. For general security-related work, Level 1 is sufficient to thwart knives, scissors, needle sticks (syringes), glass, spikes, shivs, slashing, and up to 24 joules of force.

This vest conceals its contents; externally, our stab vest resembles an ordinary waistcoat worn beneath a suit. Inside, you will find our proven and patented Armadillo-Tex stab material, which provides comprehensive protection. The extensive safety area encompasses nearly the entire upper body. As with our other vests, the waistcoat vest is distinguished by exceptional wearing comfort, achieved through a low weight of approximately 1.6 kg (Level 1) combined with a protected area of around 0.4 m². In contrast, other vests typically offer a coverage area of only 0.1 – 0.2 m². Moreover, the wearing comfort is significantly enhanced by the exceptional flexibility of the stab material, allowing for unrestricted wear, whether seated or highly active.

DESCRIPTION

If you desire a stab vest that seamlessly blends in, our waistcoat vest is precisely what you need. Crafted from a sleek black, yet robust material, the vest features a V-neck and a row of buttons that create the illusion of a conventional vest. This is the standout feature of the new vest, enabling you to discreetly integrate into your job assignments without drawing attention. It is a high-quality stab-proof vest that remains unrecognisable as such.  

For instance, a white cloth can be placed in the small breast pocket, ensuring that no one suspects it is a stab-proof vest. The vest is donned over the head and secured with strong Velcro on both sides of the back, rendering the front devoid of any indicators that would unveil it as a stab vest. The 0.4 m² protection area overlaps on the sides, depending on your body structure, ensuring comprehensive protection. Despite the vast coverage, the vest maintains a remarkably low weight of only 1.6 kg (Level 1), making it comfortable and pleasant to wear.  

The technology employed in the manufacture of our stab protection vests and other stab-proof garments is innovative and unparalleled worldwide. After extensive research, we have succeeded in creating a textile composite that is simultaneously safe, lightweight, and flexible. Our stab-proof vest weighs a mere approximately 1.5 kg (Level 1), for instance. The protective layer consists of a high-strength aramid fabric to which a specialized plastic is inseparably bonded. The combination of high-strength fibers and the energy-absorbing plastic results in a material whose specific properties surpass those of stainless steel plates.

The weight is approximately 4.5 times lighter than that of a comparably thick stainless steel plate. We have drawn inspiration from the armadillo to ensure flexibility and breathability. Much like this armored mammal, we utilize an overlapping scaly structure. However, our scaly structure is distinct from those of other suppliers in that it cannot be separated, allowing us to achieve a high degree of safety in conjunction with maximum flexibility.
